The European Business Summit

In-person

The European Business Summit aims to foster transformative debates on how to set clear expectations and commitments for the most pressing challenges, folowing the European elections in June 2024 and the subsequent renewal of the European Commission.

Energy policy will play a crucial role, while the strengthening of European security will make a more cohesive and interoperable defense industry priority for the future agenda. Also, the pervasive influence of artificial intelligence will bring forward new developments in society and the market economy. With its resilient single market and diverse business sectors, the EU holds immense potential. However, concerns about productivity slowdown and a loss in international competitiveness remain.

Nicoló Giacomuzzi-Moore, CBE JU Executive Director, will deliver a presentation at the session 'Relaunching European Competitiveness through the Green Transition' on Wednesday, 20 November.

The event takes place at Egmont Palace, Brussels.
