BBI JU launched its seventh and last call for project proposals, receiving a record number of 229 submissions. 18 new grant agreements were signed, growing the portfolio to 142 projects

CBE JU's first day
Following the adoption by the European Commission, European Parliament and the Council of the EU, the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking was legally established. The new partnership has a more significant mandate and is the universal successor of BBI JU

CBE JU launched its first call for proposals in June 2022, receiving 125 proposals. 21 new grant agreements were signed, growing the portfolio to 163 projects

CBE JU launched its second and third call for proposals in April and July 2023, receiving 165 proposals. 31 new grant agreements were signed, growing the portfolio to 194 projects
