    BBI JU launched its third call for project proposals, receiving 103 proposals. It resulted in 29 new grant agreements signed in 2017, expanding the number of projects to 65

    BBI JU launched its fourth call for project proposals. From the 149 submissions received, 17 became new projects, growing the number of projects to 82

    First Stakeholder Forum

    First BBI JU Stakeholder Forum took place in Brussels, bringing together more than 600 participants

    Fifth call for proposals

    BBI JU launched its fifth call for project proposals, receiving 144 proposals. BBI JU signed 19 new grant agreements, and the portfolio exceeded 100 projects

    BBI JU launched its sixth call for project proposals. From the 184 proposals received, 23 became projects, elevating the number of funded projects to 124

    Second BBI JU Stakeholder Forum held in Brussels, welcoming participants from 39 countries

    Seventh call for proposals

    BBI JU launched its seventh and last call for project proposals, receiving a record number of 229 submissions. 18 new grant agreements were signed, growing the portfolio to 142 projects

  17. 30 November 2021

    CBE JU's first day

    Following the adoption by the European Commission, European Parliament and the Council of the EU, the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking was legally established. The new partnership has a more significant mandate and is the universal successor of BBI JU
