Our mission is to implement the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), the result of a structured process undertaken by the founding partners (representatives of the European Commission and the Bio-based Industries Consortium) via the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
CBE JU organises yearly open calls for proposals to fund projects in research, demonstration, and industrial deployment. The projects stimulate collaboration among varied actors across Europe and along the value chains, from biomass producers and waste managers to researchers and processing industries.
