SRIA is a strategic document that identifies the main technological and innovation challenges to be addressed in the circular bio-based economy. The document outlines the research, demonstration and deployment activities that the CBE JU calls for project proposals should cover.
The SRIA is drafted by the founding partners of CBE JU, the European Commission (representing the Union) and the Bio-based Industries Consortium, based on a comprehensive consultation of key stakeholders. The document provides the agreed framework for funding projects and research programmes. The SRIA is, therefore, the basis for the multi-annual work plan of the partnership.
