European Business Summit 25th Anniversary Edition

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the 2025 edition of the European Business Summit will bring together leaders and innovators to debate the critical choices shaping Europe’s global standing. Under the theme 'Choose Europe: for a Resilient and Competitive Future', the summit will explore how Europe can strengthen investment, achieve strategic autonomy, scale innovation, and simplify regulation while maintaining trust. On 19 November, CBE JU Executive Director Nicoló Giacomuzzi-Moore will participate in the session “Driving Change Through Circular Economy”, joining a panel of European leaders and experts. The discussion will feature Jessika Roswall, EU Commissioner for the Environment, Water Resilience and Circular Economy; Niels Flemming Hansen, Member of the European Parliament; Virginia Janssens, Managing Director of Plastics Europe; and Rosie Birchard, journalist at Deutsche Welle. Together, they will examine how circular economy solutions can drive systemic change and accelerate Europe’s green transition.
