The CBE JU Programme Office has concluded the evaluation of the 2023 call for project proposals. 30 proposals have been selected to receive a total of nearly €215.5 million CBE JU funding. Grant agreements with the successful candidates are expected to be signed before the end of May 2024.
The second CBE JU call invited project proposals across 18 different topics, with the objective to advance competitive circular bio-based industries in Europe, as well as develop new circular and sustainable products and solutions for the market.
162 proposals were submitted to this call, requesting over €982 million in funding. Based on the evaluation results and available CBE JU budget, 30 of them have been selected for a total funding of nearly €215.5 million:

The successful applicants and the CBE JU Programme Office will now start preparing the grant agreements to be signed before the end of May 2024. More information about the selected projects will be published following the grant agreement signature.
