CBE JU call supporting the New European Bauhaus Academy closed

Publication date:

The CBE JU Programme Office has received three project proposals by the 4 October deadline for the 2023-2 call dedicated to supporting activities for the New European Bauhaus Academy. Applicants have requested €1.7 million in CBE JU funding against the indicative call budget of €1 million. Evaluation of the project proposals will take place in October 2023, and applicants will receive the call results in the first quarter of 2024.

The objectives of this call are to support the preparation and establishment of a training network for the re-skilling and upskilling of workers and to promote bio-based solutions in the construction sector. The network will contribute to the New European Bauhaus initiative and will be part of its Academy, which aims to improve sustainability and circularity in construction.

The CBE JU Programme Office will now check the admissibility and eligibility of the submitted proposals. The evaluation of the proposals will be carried out with the help of external experts in October 2023, and the applicants will receive information about the outcomes of the evaluations by the beginning of March 2024 at the latest. Once the grant agreement preparation with the proposals retained for funding is completed, CBE JU will sign the grant agreements, which is expected to occur by the beginning of June 2024.
