The CBE JU 2025 call for project proposals is now open for submission. A total of €172 million will be dedicated to advancing competitive circular bio-based industries in Europe across 13 topics. All stakeholders of the circular bio-based sector can apply before the deadline of 18 September 2025, 17:00 Brussels time.

CBE JU call closes with 298 project proposals

The CBE JU Programme Office received 298 project proposals by the 18 September deadline for the 2024 call, requesting nearly €1.5 billion in funding. With a budget of €213 million, the evaluation will occur in October-November 2024, and results will be announced in January 2025. CBE JU call supporting the New European Bauhaus Academy closed

The CBE JU Programme Office has received three project proposals by the 4 October deadline for the 2023-2 call dedicated to supporting activities for the New European Bauhaus Academy. Applicants have requested €1.7 million in CBE JU funding against the indicative call budget of €1 million. Evaluation of the project proposals will take place in October 2023, and applicants will receive the call results in the first quarter of 2024.

Second CBE JU call closes with 162 project proposals submitted

The CBE JU Programme Office has received 162 project proposals by the 20 September deadline for the 2023 call. Applicants have requested over €982 million in CBE JU funding against the indicative call budget of €215.5 million.

Construction workers train to improve sustainability of construction

CBE JU invites project proposals to improve skills in sustainable construction

CBE JU published a €1 million call for project proposals to prepare the establishment of a training network for the re-skilling and upskilling of workers in the construction sector. The network will contribute to the New European Bauhaus initiative and will be part of its Academy, which aims to promote bio-based solutions and improved circularity in construction. The call is open to proposals of coordination and support actions until 4 October 2023 at 17:00 CET.
