Evaluation of the 2025 call has concluded with 24 proposals selected for a total of €172 million in CBE JU funding. The new projects are to start after the grant agreement signature expected by mid-May 2026.
The CBE JU 2025 call invited project proposals across 13 different topics, with the objective to scale up Europe’s bio-based sector, as well as develop new circular and sustainable solutions for the market.
The CBE JU Programme Office received 248 project proposals for this call, requesting over €1.4 billion in funding. 24 of them have been selected for a total CBE JU funding of €172 million:
- 4 innovation actions - flagships
- 11 innovation actions
- 8 research & innovation actions
- 1 coordination & support action
The successful applicants and the CBE JU Programme Office will now start preparing the grant agreements to be signed by mid-May 2026. More information about the selected projects will follow the grant agreement signature.
