Speakers announced for the CBE JU Stakeholder Forum 2023

Publication date:

Sixty industry and opinion leaders, policymakers, leading researchers, and many other CBE JU community members will take the stage during the CBESF23.

The complete programme for the CBE JU Stakeholder Forum 2023 was announced today, including the speakers in the plenary and parallel sessions who will lead the conversations about the future of the European bio-based sector.

About the event

’What next for the European bio-based sector?’ will be the main theme of the first CBE JU Stakeholder Forum.

The forum will focus on three questions that are crucial for the successful development of the circular bio-based sector across Europe:

  • How to stimulate demand for circular bio-based solutions?
  • How to facilitate access to finance to scale up circular bio-based production in Europe?
  • What R&I do we need to keep European leadership in the bio-based sector in the medium-long term?

Participants will engage in a discussion around these questions in nine fora sessions. Two workshops will provide space for an in-depth discussion on skills in the circular bio-based economy, as well as on the needs of young researchers in the sector. In addition to ample networking opportunities, several meeting rooms will be provided to participants for smaller discussion groups.

An exhibition featuring highly innovative bio-based solutions developed by CBE JU-funded projects will take place throughout the event.
