Navigating bioeconomy projects with the CBE JU dashboard

The CBE JU countries participation dashboard is a new interactive tool designed to offer a clear and accessible overview of how EU member states and associated countries are involved in BBI/CBE JU projects. Bringing complex data to life through dynamic visuals and intuitive navigation, this dashboard provides project details like type of action, funding data and a geographic breakdown of project participants, making it easy to identify which countries are involved in which type of bio-based initiatives. 30 new projects driving Europe’s bio-based future

Following its 2024 call for proposals, CBE JU has now signed grant agreements with 30 projects. The funded consortia, made of a total of 416 beneficiaries from 33 countries, will develop innovative bio-based solutions at scale to reduce Europe’s reliance on fossil resources, create green jobs, and drive sustainable economic growth.

Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking

CBE JU is a €2 billion partnership between the European Union and the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) that funds projects advancing competitive circular bio-based industries under Horizon Europe, the EU’s research and innovation programme. CBE JU is the legal and universal successor of BBI JU.
