The ReLeaf project has developed a planting pot made from waste-derived biopolymers and bio-based fertilisers using a mix of agricultural residues and sewage sludge.
The pot is designed to biodegrade safely in soil without releasing plastic residues. It demonstrates how recovered nutrients and organic matter can be incorporated into a practical horticultural product.
