The SCALE project produces natural active ingredients from microalgae at industrial scale for food, food supplements, feed and cosmetic applications. Cognitive supplements are one of the resulting consumer-product applications.
The supplements demonstrate how microalgae-derived compounds can replace animal-derived or synthetic ingredients in food-supplement formulations, expanding the use of microalgae in higher-value consumer products.
