The MACRO CASCADE project developed food and feed applications from cultivated macroalgae as part of a cascading marine biorefinery. Pet-food products are among the resulting applications for algae-derived ingredients.
The products create a higher-value use for cultivated marine biomass and provide an alternative source of functional ingredients for animal nutrition.
