SURFs UP has developed the Foam Sweet Foam hand soap using biosurfactants produced from renewable waste and co-product streams. The formulation draws on sugars from woody biomass and food-processing residues.
The hand soap is designed to provide effective and mild cleansing while replacing fossil-based surfactants with renewable alternatives. It extends the project's biosurfactant applications from household cleaning into personal care.
