WASTE2FUNC developed multi-surface and toilet-cleaning formulations using ingredients obtained from food waste, including potato peels, supermarket food waste and leftover mint, lemon and sugar beet pulp.
The formulations are designed to remove grease, dirt and limescale while creating a higher-value use for food-processing and retail waste. Compared with conventional cleaning products, they also offer the potential to substantially reduce carbon emissions.
